Pop The Bubble

Can you imagine seeing the world around you changing, growing, excelling... and you're still in that job that tells you when you can go to the bathroom?
I certainly can. I was the girl who got to pee during my lunch break and when the day was over. Life as a teacher had it's benefits but there are some things I look back on and just think.. How did I live like this? I knew there was a way out. I knew other people had done it. I knew that if I just found that one thing... it would change my life forever.
Afraid of the Way Out
Finding the one thing that will change your life is probably the hardest thing in the world to do. You already have a job, bills to pay, laundry to get done & so many other decisions every day.. How do you even find the time to do something new?
The simple answer is you just do. You find the strength to pull yourself out of the hole that the world has dug for you. You find the strength to say enough is enough. You find the fight to want more from your life.
The more difficult answer is you replace those small pleasures such as Netflix, video games or even that nap before dinner - I know, how dare I even fathom this possibility?! Yet, that's the way out. You have to prioritize getting out of "the bubble." It's not gonna just magically pop one day and you're gonna be free.. you have to fight for it!
You have to find those caveman instincts within you. The cavemen (and cave women) had to search, find and hunt for food to survive. You have to hunt for your freedom. You are in a world where you have access to millions of things they didn't have. You have access to all the information that Google and Alexa has to offer.

Are you really gonna say that the cavemen were smarter than you? There's no way that the cavemen were so much smarter that they would fight for their life and you wouldn't, right?
I get that can sound scary, impossible or even just crazy... but that voice in your head telling you that you can't get out - that is "the bubble" talking. The bubble has been drilled into your brain from the very beginning. It has been telling you to stay on the course where you work a 9-5 until you have more wrinkles than adventures.
One Wrinkle Per Adventure
I don't know about you - but I am not excited about getting wrinkles one day. However, I would be much happier with my wrinkles if each one of them had an adventure that went along with them. I am not talking about the magical adventures of walking from my cubicle to the coffee machine. I am not talking about the magical adventure of completing a job well done that fills the pockets of my boss. I am talking about an adventure that I decided to do and I went out on! Well, this is your first adventure. Find your way out. Fight for your freedom.
Create the next chapter of your life ... and make it a good one!
